Fort Myers Beach Land Development Code

After residents of the Town of Fort Myers Beach (FL) incorporated and created its own Comprehensive Plan, a new Land Development Code was needed to implement the plan. In 2001, the town retained Spikowski Planning to create this code. The code includes zoning and subdivision regulations, a property maintenance code, floodplain regulations, marine and natural resource standards, a historic preservation program, and standards for waterfront properties facing the beach, bay, and canals.

The town's land development code is available below in PDF format for printing or searching; click below to download the entire code or individual chapters. These chapters have been updated to include all changes made through Ordinance 13-08 on November 4, 2013. The latest complete land development code is available on-line from Municipal Code Corporation here.
