SUBJECT: Conservation and Coastal Management Element

Attached for your review is a first draft of portions of the Conservation and Coastal Management element for your comprehensive plan. This version does not have the goals, objectives, or policies, and is missing several other important sections.

This element will be the longest of your plan, partly because of its importance but also because the data and analysis requirements in state law are very rigorous (as will be obvious by the bulk of this draft).

Also attached is a table of contents for these portions of this element.

We will discuss this material at your meeting at 7:00 P.M. on June 3.
